Comics Camp: July 7 - July 11 (Rising Grades 3-8)
With Jacob Wooton
July 7 - July 11
Rising Grades 3rd - 8th
Camp Time:
8:30am - 3:00pm
If your child’s doodles are starting to take over the house, Comic Camp is the perfect outlet for their creativity. Campers will dream up heroes, villains, and everything in between while learning the tricks of the trade from an experienced artist. From walking field trips for inspiration to drawing and storytelling sessions, every day is an adventure in imagination. And what’s summer without a little water fun? Campers will also cool off with sprinklers and fountain time, because even superheroes need a break.
At the end of the week, each camper will go home with their very own comic book and a shiny new sketchbook to keep the creativity going. Jacob Wooton, Cedarwood’s resident math wizard and art enthusiast, brings his love of storytelling to this dynamic camp, proving that numbers and creativity make a pretty great pair.

CEDARWOOD CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY FOR 2025:
Auxiliary Programs, Break and Summer Camps
Cedarwood will issue a full refund for a program or camp canceled by the school. Any cancellation of a camp by Cedarwood will take place at least two weeks in advance of the camp start date. A camp may be canceled if there are fewer than 10 students enrolled.
Camps may also be canceled due to high heat or poor air quality. In the case of poor air quality due to wildfires, camps will be closed for the day if the air quality is rated 151 or higher (unhealthy) by 6:30 a.m. and there is reason to believe it will remain so for a substantial portion of the day.
Parent Cancellations:
If a parent or guardian cancels 1 month prior to the start date of camp, Cedarwood will issue a 50% refund.
If a parent or guardian cancels 1 week prior to the start date of camp, no refund will be made.
Cedarwood reserves the right to cancel a camp due to low enrollment up to 1 month prior to the camp start date.
Auxiliary programs may be canceled due to low enrollment after the 2nd week. Cedarwood will refund 100% of the cost.
If an auxiliary program session is canceled by the teacher, it is up to the discretion of the teacher to reschedule.
If your family needs a reduced rate to participate in summer camp, please email Antonella Focarino at afocarino@cedarwoodschool.org and tell us a little about your situation.
