Ensuring Access to Independent, Future-Ready Waldorf Education

Investing in your child’s education at Cedarwood is an investment in their curiosity, confidence, and capacity to make a meaningful impact. Our students develop a love of learning that stays with them for life—gaining the creativity, resilience, and critical thinking skills to navigate an ever-changing world.

We truly believe that the capacity for creative, independent thought that our students demonstrate has the power to change the world. The vision of a bright and hopeful future guides our commitment to making Cedarwood accessible to families from all financial backgrounds. Through tuition assistance, we strive to ensure that more children can experience the depth and richness of a Waldorf-inspired education while helping to build a thriving, inclusive community.

Our tuition assistance application for the 2025-26 school year opened February 1 for both new and current families. Though the priority deadline of February 15 has passed, funds may still be available. Please contact us with any questions about tuition assistance.

Because we are committed to equity and accessibility, Cedarwood prioritizes tuition assistance in our annual budget to support a diverse and vibrant school community. Nearly one-third of our families receive tuition assistance, making it possible for more children to benefit from a Cedarwood education. If you’re considering Cedarwood, we invite you to take the next step—apply for admission and explore tuition assistance. We are committed to making this transformative education accessible to more families, ensuring that financial circumstances are not a barrier to your child’s growth, creativity, and future success.

In the 2023-24 school year, Cedarwood awarded over $500,800 in tuition assistance, with an average grant of $7,460. To ensure we can support as many families as possible, tuition assistance awards are currently limited to 53% of tuition.

How to Apply for Tuition Assistance:

For new families we will accept and consider Tuition Assistance applications once the admissions process is initiated. You only need to submit one Personal Financial Statement and supporting documents per household, but please make sure to include every child in the family who will be attending Cedarwood. We use TADS in partnership with School & Student Services to process tuition assistance applications and awards. You will find Cedarwood’s application for tuition assistance here. Cedarwood’s partner code is 200885. It is best to have your 2024 tax information on hand when you apply.
