New admissions for the 2025-26 school year are now open. Follow the steps below to apply.
There is limited space in some of our classes for the 2025-26 school year. If you are interested in the current school year, you can submit your application anytime.
Step 1: Apply Online
You will be redirected to our online application system, TADS. Please submit a separate application for each child in your family. Be sure to select the correct school year when you begin your application! Please note there is an application fee of $100 due at the time of submission.
Step 2: Send Supplemental Materials
Your application will be complete when we have received your child's school records and a teacher recommendation! We will send you the necessary forms electronically once your application has been received.
Step 3: Connect with Our Teachers
For grade school applicants, once your application is complete, we’ll coordinate with you to schedule a conversation with the appropriate class teacher. We’ll also arrange a classroom visit for your child, typically lasting three to five days, so they can experience the rhythm and feel of the class.
Early Childhood families are invited to an EC Family Visit—a relaxed group session in one of our classrooms. While children play and explore, parents sit down with our teachers to ask questions and learn more about the program. These visits, which include a few families at a time, are not interviews but a warm opportunity for connection.
This provides us all with an opportunity to get to know each other better and make sure Cedarwood is an excellent fit for your family! If space is not available in the class to which you have applied, we will be in touch about our waiting pool.
Step 4: Enroll
After your student’s visit and your conversation with our teacher(s) you will receive an admissions decision. If your student is offered a spot at Cedarwood you will be asked to submit their registration, along with a $500 tuition deposit to secure your child’s place in the class. Tuition contracts are due at the same time, with the first payment scheduled for June each year. Tuition contracts offer several payment plans, including one, two, four or ten installments.
