Songwriting Camp: July 21 - July 25 (Rising Grades 2nd-8th)
With Sebastian Slaven-Davis
July 21 - July 25
Rising Grades 2nd - 8th
Camp Time:
8:30am - 3:00pm
Join us for a week of creativity and fun at our Songwriting Camp! Campers will dive into the exciting world of songwriting, exploring the process from start to finish. They’ll create their own instruments, develop vocal skills, write lyrics, and learn the basics of recording.
In between songwriting sessions, enjoy outdoor adventures, including hiking through the neighborhood, playing games in the park, and cooling off with sprinkler fun.
By the end of the week, each camper will have written their very own hit single, which they'll perform for their families on Friday!
This camp will be led by the talented and passionate Sebastian Slaven-Davis, a poet, sculptor, and musician who has been an integral part of the Cedarwood community for years.
If your family needs a reduced rate to participate in summer camp, please email Antonella Focarino at afocarino@cedarwoodschool.org and tell us a little about your situation.
Once you’ve filled out the registration form and added this class to your cart, you can complete payment by clicking on the shopping bag icon at the top of the screen.
CEDARWOOD CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY FOR 2025: Auxiliary Program, Break and Summer Camps
Cedarwood will issue a full refund for a program or camp canceled by the school. Any cancellation of a camp by Cedarwood will take place at least two weeks in advance of the camp start date. A camp may be canceled if there are fewer than 10 students enrolled.
Camps may also be canceled due to high heat or poor air quality. In the case of poor air quality due to wildfires, camps will be closed for the day if the air quality is rated 151 or higher (unhealthy) by 6:30 a.m. and there is reason to believe it will remain so for a substantial portion of the day.
Parent Cancellations:
If a parent or guardian cancels 1 month prior to the start date of camp, Cedarwood will issue a 50% refund.
If a parent or guardian cancels 1 week prior to the start date of camp, no refund will be made.
Cedarwood reserves the right to cancel a camp due to low enrollment up to 1 month prior to the camp start date.
Auxiliary programs may be canceled due to low enrollment after the 2nd week. Cedarwood will refund 100% of the cost.
If an auxiliary program session is canceled by the teacher, it is up to the discretion of the teacher to reschedule.
