Step into a world of creativity, connection, and self-expression at Movement Dance Camp! This isn’t your typical dance class—there’s no tap, jazz, or ballet here. Instead, campers will explore new ways of moving, using fun and inspiring prompts to guide them. Whether your child is a seasoned dancer, a little hesitant, or just curious about trying something new, this camp offers a welcoming space to move intuitively, build confidence, and discover the pure joy of dance.

Taught by the vibrant and passionate Tori Patterson, this camp is all about embracing who you are and having FUN while doing it! With a rich background in dance instruction and a playful teaching style, Tori creates an environment that encourages kids to explore movement without judgment. From her childhood days learning and teaching in her mother’s dance studio to hosting free-form movement sessions for friends during 2020, Tori’s love for dance has always been about connection and self-discovery.

This week promises plenty of laughter, energy, and inspiration as campers dive into the “wondrous universe of play and movement.” Join us for a summer experience that’s as good for the soul as it is for the body!

CEDARWOOD CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY FOR 2025: 

Auxiliary Programs, Break and Summer Camps

Cedarwood will issue a full refund for a program or camp canceled by the school. Any cancellation of a camp by Cedarwood will take place at least two weeks in advance of the camp start date. A camp may be canceled if there are fewer than 10 students enrolled.

Camps may also be canceled due to high heat or poor air quality. In the case of poor air quality due to wildfires, camps will be closed for the day if the air quality is rated 151 or higher (unhealthy) by 6:30 a.m. and there is reason to believe it will remain so for a substantial portion of the day.

Parent Cancellations:

If a parent or guardian cancels 1 month prior to the start date of camp, Cedarwood will issue a 50% refund.

If a parent or guardian cancels 1 week prior to the start date of camp, no refund will be made.

Cedarwood reserves the right to cancel a camp due to low enrollment up to 1 month prior to the camp start date. 

Auxiliary programs may be canceled due to low enrollment after the 2nd week.  Cedarwood will refund 100% of the cost.

If an auxiliary program session is canceled by the teacher, it is up to the discretion of the teacher to reschedule.
