August 4th - August 8th
Rising Grades 2nd - 5th
Camp Time:
8:30am - 3:00pm
Get ready to celebrate the vibrant cultures of Latin America in Latin Crafts Camp! This colorful and creative week invites campers to dive into the art and traditions of Central and South America through hands-on crafting adventures. From crafting piñatas inspired by Mexico to designing Nazca line art from Peru, each project brings a unique piece of Latin American culture to life.
Campers will use a variety of materials to explore folk art, handicrafts, and storytelling, engaging their hands and imaginations as they create beautiful works of art. With every brushstroke, bead, and paper cut, they’ll connect to the rich heritage and traditions that make Latin America so inspiring.
This camp is led by Silvia Santana, a longtime Waldorf educator whose passion for creativity and culture shines in everything she teaches. Silvia brings years of experience and warmth to the classroom, ensuring that every camper feels inspired, supported, and ready to craft something extraordinary. Don’t miss this joyful exploration of Latin American art and culture!

Parent Cancellations:
If a parent or guardian cancels 1 month prior to the start date of camp, Cedarwood will issue a 50% refund.
If a parent or guardian cancels 1 week prior to the start date of camp, no refund will be made.
Cedarwood reserves the right to cancel a camp due to low enrollment up to 1 month prior to the camp start date.
Auxiliary programs may be canceled due to low enrollment after the 2nd week. Cedarwood will refund 100% of the cost.
If an auxiliary program session is canceled by the teacher, it is up to the discretion of the teacher to reschedule.
