Color has a healing and regenerative effect on anyone who takes it up with enthusiasm and effort.

Develop your appreciation and conscious handling of color during this unique workshop with artist Charles Andrade. Students will discover how all pictorial imagery is made up of color, value, and form. Exploring the “language of color,” students will work with various chalk pastel exercises that demonstrate this three-fold understanding to creating imagery.

A coffee & tea break and a shared lunch potluck will be held on both days of the workshop.

Charles Andrade studied Goethean color theory at the Tobias School of Art & Therapy in England, where he also learned the art of Lazure. Andrade’s fine art and Lazure work can be found throughout the world. Charles Andrade owns Lazure Custsom Wall Designs, a mural and decorative painting business.
