Martinmas Lantern Walk
This year, we celebrated the Martinmas festival with a Lantern Walk in our very own Lair Hill neighborhood!
Children in the Early Childhood program through Grade 3 journeyed into the evening with handmade lanterns — and their families — to carry light into the creeping darkness of the season.
Children in the upper grades sang songs of light and warmth on the steps of our school, and created vignettes of the Martinmas story along the lit path.
It was lovely to share the light of this special festival with our neighbors in Lair Hill!
