Welcome to Cedarwood Waldorf School

Cedarwood Waldorf School is a vibrant community of teachers and parents dedicated to the intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual development of children. Established in 1997, Cedarwood now offers pre-kindergarten through 8th grade and a full array of subject classes, including music, orchestra, drama, Spanish, Japanese, movement, eurythmy, handwork and woodworking. Academic lessons integrate artistic activities on a daily basis.

Cedarwood is located in Portland, Oregon, just south of downtown at 3030 SW Second Avenue in the historic Neighborhood House, across the street from Lair Hill Park. Auction! Saturday, March 20, 2010

Our 10th Annual Auction, "All the World's a Stage" will be held at Wieden & Kennedy in the Pearl District at 5 pm on Saturday March 20th, 2010. This gala event is great fun and raises much needed funds to support the extensive academic and artistic programs at Cedarwood Waldorf School.  We invite you to be a part of auction history: donate, attend, volunteer, bid, have a great time. Bring your family and friends for an evening of fun and share with them the wonder of our Waldorf education.

School Closure Policy:

During inclement weather, Cedarwood will follow Portland Public School closures for Multnomah county, Westside schools. If PPS has a 2-hour delay Kindergarten is canceled. If the 2-hour delay is on Thursday, all classes are canceled. Cedarwood students come from all over the Portland Metro area.  The weather may be okay at your house but not at the school. Please stay informed by either the local radio or  television stations. Safety is our primary concern.
